Remove the lid of the battery compartment at the bottom of the scale. Remove the old battery. Insert the new battery of the right type.
Close the lid of the battery compartment.

Press the ON/OFF button (4) to turn on the scale. Press the UNIT button (2) to change the units of measure. The unit will be visible on the
display.
Open the battery compartment. Insert the new battery of the right type. Close the lid of the battery compartment.
